This week, we bring you a new way to cast spells in 5th Edition DnD. Introducing: Incantation Casting. This new rule supplement allows for casters to work together to cast spells beyond their regular limits. The goal of this design was to find a way to allow lower level parties to achieve the effects of certain high level spells. The rules allow both for player-driven research of incantations, as well as incantations introduced by the DM as plot points, loot, or as part of villainous plans.
Also included is a new spell: Séance. This spooky new spell allows you to contact the spirits at the dead, at the risk of opening the door for not-so-friendly spirits. Check out both of these on the Incantation Casting pdf, available for free viewing or download right here at Tale-Top.com/dnd-5e.
Greetings to all on this fine December evening. This week officially marks my first posting after Nanowrimo last month. Congratulations to everyone who participated, even if you didn't finish - way to crank it out like a word mill. Even if you didn't hit 50,000 words, success is arbitrary - 500 words is kind of a lot if you have a life (some of us just didn't for a month and that's cool too).
In wake of all that jazz, I bring you some of the end of my previous manuscript, nearing the start of the new stuff I spent last month writing. More importantly, it's actually readable now! It's been pointed out to me that I accidentally posted one section twice, but it should make a whole lot more sense now. AND, I've changed the colors to something that's not a headache to read, though it took a little more motivation than I thought I had.
You can check out the new stuff in the link here, or you can navigate to it the more convoluted way (just think of it as a treasure hunt) by going to the stories tab and clicking on Vua.
Happy December, everyone.
This week's DnD supplement is Recovered Arcanum, a collection of 16 new spells for DnD5e. Check the out here, or visit our DnD5e page to see all of the free 5th Edition content. This week, the supplement is completely self-illustrated. It's my first time releasing non-pixel-art drawing on here, so I hope they turned out alright.
As you know, we release all our of stuff for free here on Tale-Top, so if you enjoy our content, consider popping on over to our Ko-Fi page and leave us a little gift. Another way to support us, of course, is to share our work with your friends, family, co-workers, etc and follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and instagram. (Social media links found in the footer, or the About Us page)
It is Sunday. It is quite late for me. But once more, as promised, I bring the offering of new content I've carefully (in a manner of speaking) crafted and edited for your entertainment. And mine, but let's pretend it's not selfish. You can find it here in my gorgeous link, or under the stories tab, all the usual stuff.
New pixel art Roll20 tokens! This seventh addition includes the huge adult blue dragon, as well as its shadowy counterpart. Head on over to our DnD-5e page to find a free download for these and more!
So, one might argue that I'm late. And they'd be right. Cause.. yeah I forgot this week and I'm late. BUT, I'm going to choose to hide behind the fact that IT'S NATIONAL NOVEL WRITING MONTH! WOOHOO! So basically, I'm late in posting this week, BUT it's because I've been slaving over the new content that's gonna keep this story alive for a while longer! Soooo, it's a slightly longer section than normal this week, and I'm sorry it's late. But, hey, at least it made it. You can read it here, or, as usual, under the stories tab under Vua.
Happy writing everyone. I hope you sleep more than I.
Hope your Sunday is spooky! For the last Sunday before Halloween, I bring you Halloween Archetypes for DnD 5e. The Lantern Domain cleric wards of malevolent spirits with craved pumpkins, while the Black Cat rogue relies on their uncanny luck. Check out the out right here along with other DnD archetypes, rule supplements, and art. Feedback, as always, is appreciated.
After a brief (and much needed) hiatus on my end, Vua is back! Biweekly updates will continue once more, this week with several edits to sections two and three, followed by new content - a section 8 has appeared!! The story will continue from here with new vigor and motivation as if there were never a break at all. If you don't believe me, click here and prepare to have your socks knocked off. Otherwise, you can find the story of Vua under the stories tab where it still lies!
Happy reading everyone.
Check out new Roll20 tokens, featuring the undead, just in time for your spooky halloween adventures! While your checking them out, also take a look at my 5e mini-adventure, The Wilting Nocturne! The download has been updated to include tokens for all the monsters encountered in the dungeon. All the token packs and other DnD goodies can be found under the games tab at our DnD-5e page.
Happy Sunday night everyone and welcome to the new schedule. Being that we are adjusting to the new fall schedule (of doing everything always), I’m only posting one new comic this week. You can check it out on the 2D art page here, or wander through the art pages yourself. May the Monday sleepies leave you alone and the weekday stresses get lost in the mail.
We are young creators looking to create and share new games, art, and literature.
