As a bonus action, you can expend a charge to activate the device. For the next minute, this deals an additional 2 fire damage with each hit. While activated, you can use your action to discharge the device, firing hot toast at high velocity. Make a ranged weapon attack against a target of your choice within 30 ft. On a hit, the target takes 1d6 Bludgeoning dmage, plus 5 Fire damage for each round the maul has been active. Once discharged, the maul is no longer active, and cannot be discharged until activated again. The maul regains 1 charge daily at dawn.
